If someone had told me 3 years ago that I would be writing a testimonial about a machine that helps me to function (my motor skills) better every day, I would have told them they were nuts. Walking, sitting, lying down, going up and down stairs…every movement has been a challenge for me for the last ten years. Let me start at the beginning so you will understand where I am coming from.
On the evening of February 7, 2000, I slipped and fell in the ladies’ washroom in the building where I worked. I was knocked out for a while, came to and returned to work but a few moments later. On Friday, February 11th, 2000, I had been having increasingly painful headaches and losing more and more mobility in my lower body from day to day; so I decided to go to Emergency. I did not return to work for 2 years, and then, I could only work part time. What had happened was that I had injured some discs damaged my sacroiliac. The specialists did what they could to help me. I endured over 17 various procedures to try and remedy the situation but I ended up with permanent damage to my lower back and nerve. Since then, due to this injury and some Tarlov cysts inside the nerve envelope, my condition has considerably deteriorated from year to year.
Over the last few years, I have had to have a procedure called a Radio Frequency Ablation (RF) to the nerve which consists of burning the facets of the injured nerve so that the brain thinks the burn is permanent and there is no sensory pain at that spot. For many years, I had this done every six months in order to reduce my level of pain. However, the nerve facets regenerate and the pain returns as strong, or stronger than ever.
There are two kinds of pain; the burning pain and the radiant pain. Due to the fact that I have more than one injury which causes pain, I feel both types of pain. Even after the RF’s, I still feel pain at the end of the day or when I overdo. My life has become a sedentary one. Pain medication works, but only for a short while and I don’t want to become dependent on pain medication.
Enter the SOQI Ceramic Heater™. In November, 2009, I was introduced to the hothouse by a friend. She lent me hers and told me to try it for a little while to see if it would help me. Well, no one was more surprised than I was that this precious funny looking thing did help me. Therefore, knowing that I was having another RF procedure done in March, 2010, I bought a hothouse for myself not knowing exactly what type of impact it would have on my body and the results that would come to bear.
Usually, when they do the procedure, it takes me 5 to 6 weeks to be able to function with only a modicum of pain. This year, I started using the hothouse right after the surgery, twice a day, for an hour each time. At the end of the third week, I was ecstatic as I was driving my car, doing my errands. I am at week 5 after the surgery today, May 4th, and I was up and out of the house by 9:00am today to go visit a friend. Even in my best of times in the last 10 years, I would never have been able to get up and about within an hour of waking up.
I have found that the SOQI Ceramic Heater™ has helped reduce the inflammation in my afflicted areas, permitted me to have more flexibility and seriously reduced the amount of pain medication that I take on a day to day basis. Thus, my quality of life has much improved and I thank my dear friend who introduced me to the HotHouse™ for helping me enjoy my life so much more than I have been able to for the past 10 years.
Oh, life is not perfect. Even though I am known as being a person with a positive attitude, being positive can only bring you so far. There is still some pain and there are days that I still have difficulty functioning, even after the RF procedure. However, they are fewer and less severe or, if they are too rough, I just spend a little more time under the hothouse, relax and enjoy the day.
Another topic I can add is that, by using the SOQI Ceramic Heater™, the symptoms, suffering and incidences due to the various bowel illnesses that I have, such as crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome and severe diverticulitis, have been seriously diminished. This is a bonus I had not expected or counted on.
Needless to say, every chance I get, I recommend the SOQI Ceramic Heater™ to those of my friends who might benefit from it as well as refer them to the website www.chimachinecanada.com .
I sincerely hope that those who read this testimonial will realize that I am just an ordinary person like them; that I was doubtful, as well, but have since realized the importance of at least trying the machine for myself before committing to the purchase. Our local representative is only a mouse click away. Don’t wait; give it a try and see for yourself. I highly recommend it.
